Having come up with a simple-yet-effective concept *and* kept faffage to a minimum, I'm pleased as punch to announce that I have a brand new website.
One page. For now. It will grow, but along similar lines. Purposefully devoid of distracting bells and annoying whistles, I'm hopefully that the all-new mounsey.co.uk will last for some time.
Please take a look. 30 seconds or so is all you need (unless you're a slow reader, like me - in which case be sure to allocated up to 45 seconds).

On my to-do list for the newly born website: 1) SEO plugin installation; 2) Gradually rolling out additional pages (using the same mechanic and purposeful simplistic presentation; 3) Consider a “Light mode” version.. as I’m all too aware that one flaw/issue with this visual aesthetic is that it might not be suitable for all – and that’s not good enough. Also not *bad* enough for the concept to be scrapped – but using a “Dark Mode” option (on the WordPress tools I’ve built the site using), adapted to in effect provide a “Light Mode” could be the answer. Stay tuned.
Quick update.. I’m now ready to roll out more content for the newly simplified website. This will be challenging as I am *determined* to keep it as simple and to-the-point as I can.. but like every other site owner I also need to respect Google’s wishes and guidance too – not least with the incessant rise of “AI Search” and all of the (new) opportunities that that brings with it. It will be a gradual process, but do stay tuned – the wheels are turning!
